The Department aims to be a leader in the field of Petroleum Geology & Sedimentary. To achieve this, the department is well equiped with modern state of instruments and a well competitive team of staff members with reputation at international level. The Department also amis in fulfilling it's duty towards the community and people through continued support and awareness in the general public about the aspects that concern them. In an unending effort to explore the natural resources deposited in the Country, the Department always strives hard to produce strong and capable graduates who can work independently and be of the best use to the country and the countrymen.
